Young Justice is a DC Comics comic book series focusing on a group of teen heroes in the DC Universe. In 2010, the series had been adapted into an animated series: Young Justice.
Canon
The Young Justice team was formed at a time when DC's usual teen hero group, the Teen Titans, had become adults and changed their name to the Titans. Like the original TT, Young Justice was centered on three previously established teen heroes: Superboy, Robin and Impulse, but grew to encompass most of the teenaged heroes in the DC Universe.
The team first appeared in Young Justice: The Secret #1 (June 1998). The team disbanded in the 2003 mini-series Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day to form into the new Teen Titans and The Outsiders.
