Y tu mamá también is a 2001 Spanish-language film directed by Alfonso Cuarón. It is a coming-of-age road movie featuring a canonical threesome between two teenage friends and a twenty-something woman. The film was a common topic of discussion in Harry Potter fandom because it was Cuarón's most recent before he directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004. There is some RPF involving the films' stars Diego Luna (who would later star as Cassian Andor in Rogue One) and Gael García Bernal,[1][2] who were childhood friends and frequent collaborators.
