This is a story in which Kirk and Spock are rescued by an infant alien who is an empath, a telepath, and a shapechanger. This being managed to rout an encampment of Klingons and kick them off the planet. Yet we are told that Klingons had destroyed the rest of that race. How could they have managed to do this if one member of the race, and a baby at that, had so much power? I don't find the situation convincing. [1]
