We'll Shine Like Stars is a gen (and het?) multimedia 95-page anthology by Jean L. Stevenson.

It is primarily fiction, but also includes a transcript of an interview with Bono (page 95 from Propaganda issue No. 9, 1989) and song lyrics to six U2 songs. The cover is by Carol Walske.

According to the editorial, this is the third zine published by JeanZine.

From the Editorial

Here are four different universes (in hope, of course, that at least one will appeal to every someone who passes by). One of the stories has been sitting around for a while in the hands of another editor, but though it goes though it goes between 'A New Hope' and the 'The Empire Strikes Back', it was written after the release of 'Return of the Jedi'.

I've included a family tree linking two of the universes, and linking them to several others. You might play a game trying to identify all of them. (The total is 8).

The script is my first attempt to write something that could be submitted to a production company, so allow your imagination to fill in the characterizations. Even if you don't know the relevant series, recast the things to your specs if you want.

Lastly, a very great 'thank you.' to those who have recently introduced by to interesting names as U2, R.E.M., The Waterboys, Simple Minds, Midnight Oil, Indigo Girls and WDRE. Which leads directly to what we might call the copyright apology.

JeanZine III: We'll Shine Like Stars, is an amateur production, designt to profit no one, except possibly by spreading the word about various good artists in the world and expanding the abilities of the author of these pieces. My grateful praises go to the creators of the following: Star Wars, Paradise, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Star Trek: The Next Generation.
