I know that this story is intended to be humorous, but it reduces Kirk to the level of a moron, and I don't like humor that belittles either of our heroes. Aiso, I know that humor is supposed to work by incongruity, but isn't such an innocent Kirk in command of a starship in the Mirror a/u a shade too incongruous? It seems to me that this Kirk wouldn't have survived to adulthood in that universe. I found the entire premise excessively silly. [1]
Mirror-Universe sex farce (believe it or not). Despite his reputation and his legendary organ, Kirk of the ISS Enterprise is a virgin and, because of the fearsome grandmother in his head, won't remedy that until he's married. Things come to a crisis and Spock takes advantage of the opportunity to have a shotgun wedding. Pretty funny. [2]
