The actors worked together on Peter Jackson's movie trilogy The Lord of the Rings.

Ship History

Viggo and Orlando worked together on Lord of the Rings from 1999 to 2004.

The movies' extensive behind the scenes documentaries, as well as the two actors' closeness and behaviour during premieres, promo, etc., provided fans with an abundance of shipping material.

There was a small contigent of tinhats within the fans, fuelled for example by interpretations of Viggo's poems, especially Communion.
