Hello. I'm TheVioletHowler, though you can call me Howler for short. I've been consuming fanworks since around 2010, and creating fanworks since 2013. I started in fandom as a lurker on forums for Thomas & Friends and American Dragon: Jake Long forums, and then moved to tumblr in 2016 where I started actively engaging with fan communities. I have a lot of interests but only a few that I'm actively involved in the fandoms for. My tastes run towards space opera and urban fantasy, but I occasionally dabble in other genres.
I joined Fanlore in November 2019 because I noticed that there was little to no information on some of the fan campaigns I've participated in over the years and I decided I'd prefer adding information myself and trying to keep my comments neutral than waiting for years hoping someone else would do it.
