Hi, I'm Coby Cat. That nickname was originally just a silly pun name for an Original Character Do Not Steal based Mickey Mouse, that eventually stuck around as my own screen name.

Above all I'm a Disney fan, but I've rather passively dabbled in other fandoms too (Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, Pokémon, Bionicle, . . .)

I have written some fanfiction over the years, though they're all WIPs that I've never published. I used to moderate several Pokémon roleplaying forums in days of Invisionfree. On my personal site (linked in the infobox) I've assembled information on some relatively niche topics within my interests.

What I like best about contributing to Fanlore is finding other threads to connect to articles I've recently written, and discovering connections I never knew about. Somehow these always relate to Star Trek, which I don't really have any affinity with. But maybe I'm being subtly nudged to rectify that, haha.
