• Maidens of the Kaleidoscope - history, role in Western Touhou fandom
• THE iDOLM@STER - franchise, branches, role in Japanese fandom, comparatively small English-speaking fandom - if properly filled out this would likely encompass several articles
• Zero no Tsukaima - influence on Japanese fanfiction communities (need more information) - example is this essay in Japanese [1] attributing it as a major influence on the eventual culture of Shousetsuka ni Narou isekai as the basis of what they describe as the third fanfiction boom after Kanon (fandom) and Neon Genesis Evangelion
• Nico Nico Douga - history, role in Japanese fandom, etc. Note that Nico Nico Chorus exists
• Active and defunct scanlation aggregation sites:
  • Batoto - defunct scanlation aggregation site, preferred upload target of scanlators for several years
  • MangaDex - active scanlation aggregation site designed to replace Batoto, a site for scanlators by scanlators (admins are scanlators themselves), current preferred upload target of scanlators
  • MangaFox - need to check
  • MangaRock - defunct? need to check
  • etc.
