Marita Covarrubias is a recurring X-Files character played by Laurie Holden.
Early X-Files fans gave her the nickname: "Uniblonder" because of her blonde hair. She is one of Mulder's informants and takes over from Mr. X, who is killed on the agents' apartments threshold where he leave a hint that leads Mulder to Covarrubias.
Pairings
In fanfiction she is most often paired with Alex Krycek. There are also a few stories of Scully/Marita that are usually categorized as Scully/Other since it's a rare pairing. Other rare pairings are Marita Covarrubias/Fox Mulder, that currently lists 4 works at AO3.[1] and Marita/Mr. X.
