Summaries

From an publisher's ad in Pop Stand Express #10: "An original novel written to explain the references in 'Pirate's Key' to the Simons' 'last job' together. When A.J. offers comfort to a young Cracker woman refused as a client by Myron he has no hint of the adventure his adventure his decision will bring to himself and brother. There's a hidden pirate treasure, a modern-day buccaneer, a murder, and a tropical storm -- and A.J.'s first kill."

Summary from a distributor, Agent With Style: "Based upon hints given in the pilot episode of Simon & Simon,'Pirate's Key,' this novel finds the Simons living in Florida, where A.J. becomes caught up in the quest of a young Everglades woman to authenticate a treasure map discovered in her family's attic. Meanwhile, Rick gets a call from an old Vietnam drinking buddy -- who happens to be her brother. A mysterious prowler who boards A.J.'s cabin cruiser at Key West and a hurricane bearing down on the Florida Keys add still more excitement to the case."
