History
The TPD is a fanfic archive first build back in 1999 and put online under the name of The Wonderful World of Thomas Eugene Paris at the end of 1999. The TPD didn't exist until the 1st of January 2000, but since then it has continued to grow steadily[2].
The site joined the Chakotay/Paris Slash Ring on October 01, 2000.[3] it was also a member of the Paris/Kim Slash Ring and the TEP Ring.[4]
The archive is associated with a livejournal community, Tom Paris Dorm.
In December 2018, it was announced that The Tom Paris Dorm would be moving to the Archive of Our Own as an Open Doors Project.[5] The import was completed in September 2021.[6]
