Tigress Press was created by Vicki Ashe and Gwen Bolton and published two zines, Personal Log and Fire and Gold.
In Universal Translator #7, Winston Howlett made this announcement: "We are pleased to announce that Mpingo Press and Tigress Press are forming a 'merger.' Winston A. Howlett and Gwen Bolton were married [in 1980]." They ask that "for the time being, all zine business and letters of congratulation be sent to their respective business address."
