thecoalbunker is a Harry Potter fanfiction writer who was active in the early 2000s. She was primarily a Harry slash fan.
Her first fanfic was the Harry/Fred novel The Dreamer.[2] It was removed from Fanfiction.net as a result of the 2002 NC-17 ban. A single chapter was reuploaded with an author's note pointing to thecoalbunker's website.[3]
An R-rated version of Convincing Oliver (with "[less] in depth shagging bits") was posted at FF.net, with the NC-17 version available at thecoalbunker's site and the glassesreflect Yahoo group. thecoalbunker also maintained a mailing list for story updates.[4]
thecoalbunker wrote drabbles for the hp_challenges Yahoo group[5] and participated in (although likely did not complete stories for) the Quidditch Slash FQF, Harry/Weasley FQF, and Harry Slash FQF.[6]

- Convincing Oliver (NC-17 version) – Harry/Oliver, R/NC-17. Post-Hogwarts. Abandoned WIP at 14 chapters with 8 more planned,[6] 50K+ words. jaylee_g described the fic as "the reigning king of all Harry/Oliver stories everywhere" and "one of [her] all-time favorites."[7] (December 2002 – last updated August 2003)
- Why Did I Have To Bump Into You? – Harry/Draco, planned to be NC-17. Single chapter of a WIP put on hold for Convincing Oliver.[5] (December 2002)
- "The Return of Mr Wood" – Tentative title of a Harry/Oliver story for the Quidditch Slash FQF. Partial drafts posted on thecoalbunker's Livejournal in August, September, and October 2003. Set during Harry's seventh year.
