Post Hogwarts Is a sub genre of Harry Potter fanworks that generally take place after the events of the books. The name refers to them being set "post Hogwarts", where Hogwarts is the name of the secondary school most of the characters attend throughout the books. Post Hogwarts fics usually deal with their graduation or exiting the school, and sometimes some combination of getting jobs in the "wizarding world", adult relationships and/or marriage and children. Though not all fics include all aspects. There may also be elements of dealing with the aftermath of Voldemort's war and the place of that war or prejudice and classism in the wizarding world.
