The Wongs is nickname used by fans of the Carterverse shows, especially X-Philes for the writing duo consisting of James Wong and Glen Morgan.
The term seems to have first appeared in an alt.tv.x-files discussion in May 1996 by user Michael Richmann[2]and started gaining popularity in the fandom around after that [3] It was and is still also used by journalists in coverage when referring to the two writers[4] as well by the fandom.
