Summary
From the publisher:
Through the dastardly and evil manipulations of Sauron, a disembodied wizard is sent to the planet of the Guardian of Forever. With a little meddling on the part of the Q Continuum, the wizard not only finds himself on the Enterprise, but an Enterprise sent into the past of Middle-earth, where Dr. McCoy encounters a king with his face. Can the wizard be saved? Is the Enterprise facing yet a second altered timeline? Can Kirk, Spock and McCoy return to the present? Is Legolas' mind in jeopardy? And how can Sauron, from an even more distant past, threaten them all?
