The Murasaki Probe is a gen Star Trek club newsletter published by a fan club in International Falls, MN in the 1990s. It contains news, articles, reviews, and fan fiction. At least one piece of its fiction was reprinted in Trexperts #64.

The name comes from The Murasaki Effect, a quasar-like phenomena from the episode, "The Galileo Seven."
