The Leonard Nimoy Nuts and Bolts was a Star Trek: TOS fan club created and run by Claire Mason.

It was a member of LNAF.

From a 1971 ad in Leonard's Pennsy & Otherwise Freaks: "Claire Mason has a new LNF chapter called, LN's Nuts and Bolts. Now, if you're already a Nimoy nut, and want to be a Nimoy bolt too - this is the club for you."

In 1972, a fan described it as "...a very active chapter with some wonderful journals to show for her hardworking efforts." [1]

In 1973, there were plans for this club to merge with Leonard's Pennsy & Otherwise Freaks, but this likely did not occur.

A 1975 announcement by Ginger Burrison, president of the fan club Leonard Nimoy's Bits 'N' Pieces:

Hi! As you know, Claire Mason had to discontinue LNNB because of a horrendous schedule at college. Well, a few of her faithful following banded together and decided to keep it going! With Claire's permission and help, of course. We have explored the possibilities and discovered we can publish 2-3 Worksheets a year, but we will have to charge $2.00 plus six 10¢ stamps per year to cover the cost. We know LNNB has never charged dues before, but it is now necessary to do so. We hope you will continue to help keep the club going and help it grow by understanding our predicament and participate as enthusiastically as you have in the past. You know our Worksheet is one of the finest around, and with your support we can keep it so. Claire worked very hard to make LNNB what it is today - let's not let her down! Being one of the largest LNAF chapter clubs is quite an honor! And we hope to keep it that way!

As always, donations and extra stamps will always be welcome. Any questions you have as to membership, Leonard, club officers, etc., please feel free to ask. I am rather new to the realm of club presidency ((just started my own club in December 1974), but with your help I know we can keep Nuts & Bolts at the top of the list, and I can't think of a nicer way to show our appreciation to Claire!
