The I Hate Jurgen Leitner meme was a rather comedic anti Jurgen Leitner rant that turned into a bit of a meme and a copypasta. It had another boost in popularity and began to really take off when Octopodian posted a dramatic reading of it.

It has inspired several versions or spinoffs of it. There is at least one fanfic based off of it, which incorporates it. It is often jokingly said to be spoken by Gerry Keay, a The Magnus Archives character who canonically dislikes Jurgen Leitner. The fic has him speaking the rant, and there are a few animations of the rant that have him as a main character.

Some spinoffs involve reading it in the style of a The Magnus Archives episode.

There is also now a trend of translating the rant into different languages, and doing dramatic readings of the translations. The translation videos often, but not always, have titles following the format "The Jurgen Leitner rant but it's in (language) because I can". People have commented on these that they can follow along somewhat because of their memorization and familiarity with the Jurgen Leitner rant, and that way they can pick up new words. Some have also credited a video with increasing their interest in learning a new language. Though it's mostly impossible to see the rate of follow up.

if i wanted to get into heaven and god said jurgein leitners waiting inside i would piss on gods feet for the sole purpose of getting sent back down. if i have to deal with jurgein leitner speaking one word in person on voice in podcast not only will i close the tab i will delete my bookmark out of spite and have to rewatch the entire series again for the experience of being able to skip all the times when he is mentioned or alive. i dont even know why i hate him so much. he collects books but i am just mad because i am ANGY. he better have some fucked up backstory to explain this if hes just some rich shithead whos a fan of creepypasta and wanted the irl version ill go ham. BETTER have had a book make him kill a man cuz if he didnt Im going to make him.

episode's not even about him. vaguely mentioned what is supposed to maybe be his library and I lost it. where the fuck is jurgein leitner if hes still alive im going to so deeply wish he wasnt.
