"The High Price for Love," by Ann Carver. It's difficult to pick a favorite, but this is definitely in the running. Spock is abducted and taken into slavery with the help of an illegal drug. McCoy and Kirk find him, and the rest is a moving story of love and friendship as the two work to save Spock and help him through the terrible withdrawal from the drug. I loved it. [1]
