My favorite favorite among Roberta's stories is "The Giver Beware" in which after "A Piece of the Action," Spock makes Kirk a present of an Iotian car and they end up "parking" in it. This is not only highly amusing, but it acts out Kirk's exhibitionist fantasy in a very sexy way. [1]

I usually don't care for humor, but Roberta knows how to strike my funny bone. This tale about the difficulties involved in having sex in an Iotian vehicle parked in shuttle bay represents one of the funniest situations I've ever seen in K/S. It's the incongruousness of seeing such an old fashioned practice as "parking" in the 23rd century that makes it so funny, The danger of getting caught also gives the story an erotic appeal. [2]
