The Brobecks was the previous band of Dallon Weekes.

History

The founding members were Dallon Weekes, Scott Jones, Matt Glass, and Michael "Mike" Gross. Weekes, Jones, and Glass had previously been in the band 1000 West. Other members at various points in time include Bryan Szymanski, Nate Leslie, Dave Chisholm, Josh Rheault, Connor Doyle, Drew Davidson, and Ryan Seaman.

I Dont Know How But They Found Me sometimes reworks their songs for new release ("Clusterhug" and "A Letter") and often perform their songs live. The 1000 West song "Monday Morning," which later became Panic! at the Disco's "Far Too Young To Die," experienced multiple iterations as a Brobecks song.

In 2025, the Brobecks re-released Happiest Nuclear Winter and early members reunited to announce a documentary, Not Dead Yet.

Fandom

Most Brobecks fanworks are part of broader Bandom works, especially Panic! At The Disco and I Dont Know How But They Found Me due to overlapping members and times.

Until 2025, the only album available on Spotify was Violent Things, many songs from which appear on fanmixes and other fan playlists.
