The Bear is a comedy-drama television show about a failing Chicago sandwich shop & its' chefs and staffs.

Canon

Season 1 follows Carmy Berzatto, a young award-winning chef who inherits the family sandwich shop 'The Original Beef of Chicagoland' after his brother's suicide and comes back to Chicago. He has to manage the stubborn staff, his brother's debts, and a rundown kitchen along with dealing with his grief and trauma. The staff starts to respect Carmy and his sous chef Sydney as time goes. In the end, he decides to transform it into his dream restaurant 'The Bear' with Sydney.
