The Amazing Devil is a lyrical folk band formed in 2016 and comprised of members Joey Batey and Madeleine Hyland.

Band Lore
At the band's founding, each band member had a stage persona they played. Batey as The Blue Furious Boy and Hyland as Scarlett Scarlett. One of the band members, Batey, plays Jaskier on the Netflix adaptation of The Witcher. The character's popularity and the show's popularity have helped boost the band to higher levels of popularity.
In 2020, the Tumblr Fandommetic's Year in Review placed the band as the twentieth most popular fandom within the category of musical groups.

Dear Hearts Drive
The Dear Hearts Drive was a fandom charity stream project to raise money for Refugee Women Connect.[5] The stream featured singing digital art streams, playing instruments, and doing poetry readings.[6] The first stream, held on September 13, 2020 raised £21,013 in donations.[7]
The Dear Hearts Drive hosted a holiday drive held on December 20, 2020, raising £2,103 for Refugee Women Connect.[8] The most recent drive was held on July 17th, 2021, raising £7,735 for the same charity.[9]

Amazing Devil Discord Fanbook
The Amazing Devil Discord Fanbook was a fan project finished on June 22, 2022. The Amazing Devil Wiki is an ongoing fan project to create a wikia for the band's music. It was started on September 8th, 2020.
TADvent
TADvent was a daily creative prompt challenge hosted by the Amazing Devil Discord server for the entirety of December 2023. Every day fans were encouraged to create something based on the associated prompts.[11] It was open to fanworks of all kinds from traditional, digital art, and poetry to fun selfies and pet photos.

Our Battle Cries (Fan Video Project)
Our Battle Cries was a collaborative fan-run lyric video project in 2020. The project created a lyric video for the song Battle Cries off of the band's second album The Horror and the Wild. Each lyric went to a different fan to create a small creative photo or video with the lyrics. There was also a corresponding project hosted on Tumblr where each person who participated in the video had an opportunity to contribute a message to the band. [12]
