John Sheppard/Teyla Emmagan is one of the two common het pairings in the Stargate Atlantis fandom (the other would be Sheppard/Weir) and can be found on mailing lists and on LJ. Sometimes mailing lists were more active earlier in the fandom's history, but as LJ fandom grew communities became more widespread.
One of the first John/Teyla lists, Sheppard/Teyla Fever, on yahoogroups was founded in August 2004 [1] and the affiliated LJ community sheppard_teyla was created in October 2005.[2] The John and Teyla Yahoo Group (unlike the former this one doesn't allow adult material) was also founded in August 2004, and its affiliated LJ community sga_john_teyla was created in December 2005.[3]
