Fanwork type in template

But not the general fanwork template, right? Because that could be used on anything. Also, sometimes templates are used on fanworks that are close but not exactly the same thing. That could be a problem if the template declares them to be something they are not. --Doro 15:40, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

I see your point. Though I think that may be an opportunity for creating more accurate templates. We could easily label the generic fanwork template "Fanwork", but we can start with the more specific and unambiguous fanwork types.--æþel 16:40, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
