Tavros Nitram is a fictional character in the webcomic Homestuck by Andrew Hussie.

Fandom
Many fanworks for Tavros surround his experience being disabled on Alternia, which would have had him culled. Many humanstuck portrayals of Tavros showcase him as in hospital or sickly.
Tavros is most commonly shipped with Gamzee Makara, probably owing to Gamzee being one of the few trolls who is shown having substantial positive interactions with him. Some fans have argued against this pairing, however, due to Gamzee decapitating Tavros' dead body and kissing it.[citation needed]
A controversial ship for Tavros is Tavros/Vriska. Some fans see it working in a kismesitude, or even a post-canon matespritship; many fans argue that this ship would never work and potentially romanticizes abuse. Other fans, however, use the relationship as a way for both Tavros and Vriska to grow as characters.
