About
From an ad in The New Monthly:
After honoring the warriors who saved the fleet, Adama finally finds the perfect planet on which to leave Baltar. But what he doesn't know is that Iblis awaits there, watching as Apollo, Starbuck, Sheba, and Baltar come nearer and sending a story to separate and trap them all. This time, his first target is Starbuck, and his promise is the resurrection of the dead.
Summary from a distributor, Agent With Style:
Baltar, the traitor who betrayed the human race to the Cylons, had given Apollo and Starbuck the plans to the Cylons' base star that was shadowing the fleet, which helped them destroy it. For this, he was promised to be set free on the first habitable planet the fleet found, and Adama intended to keep that promise even though most of the Colonials wanted to push Baltar out the nearest airlock. ... a planet has been found. But in getting the traitor to the planet, disaster strikes. During a terrible storm, Starbuck's Viper disappears into the ocean. The shuttle carrying Baltar, Sheba and Apollo crashlands, freeing the prisoner. The planet is not as inviting as it appears to be -- and, as they quickly discover, they are not alone.

How much do I love this ending for Baltar? It’s so damned satisfying. [1]
I will “date” myself a bit with this comment, but I am a fan of your work in the Battlestar Galactica fandom dating back to the Clean Slate Press fanzines (some of which I think I still have) and I am so very happy to see you and your stories here on AO3! You absolutely should be insufferably pleased with this story - it’s an incredible continuation of the story arc of the series that got so abruptly cut off with no season 2! And it’s one of the very few fics I’ve read in any fandom that I very much wish we could go back in time and film with the original cast. :)
I’m looking forward to re-reading all your works now that you and they are here! (And also discovering the ones that I hadn’t seen before, particularly those in the A-Team fandom.) I know it can be difficult to continue writing in these older, smaller fandoms because you don’t get as much feedback, but please just know that there are some of us out here who really respect, and cherish, your work.[2]
Well I'm not a screen writer, but I know what I like; I loved this. I agree, you nailed it. [3]
