This paragraph is intriguing, but needs a little more context:
- While the story includes sex between two men, it is still categorized as gen. This is because the sex act depicted is an act of non-consensual violence and is not slash.
It was categorized as gen by the author? by the zine editor? by everyone at the time? Did the editor give noncon as a justification for why it was gen? Or was noncon torture fic at that time usually classified as gen? It would help to explain a little more the change in how the story would be classified then vs. now. Because now it would be called Han/Vader noncon slash.--aethel (talk) 21:42, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
- I tweaked the sentence: "While the story includes sex between two men, the zine editor and the story's author categorized it as gen. This is because the sex act depicted was not one of of desire (at least on Han's part) but an act of non-consensual violence." Clearer? --MPH (talk) 00:40, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- I did some more tweaking on that part. --MPH (talk) 12:31, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
