Talk:The Persian Boy
I'm actually questioning whether this needs its own page. Fanfic for the Alexander books and the discussion of The Persian Boy in maryrenaultfics are already covered on the main Mary Renault pages. I know a number of fandom articles break out individual movies or books into subpages, but I'm just not sure there's much need to do that here -- it's such a small fandom already. Do other people have opinions? (If we do break out the different books, I think it might at least make sense to group the Alexander novels together, as Yuletide does -- they overlap so much in terms of characters and fan activity.)--Penknife 23:03, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- A fast Google only came up with places that clearly consider Mary Renault's entire oeuvre to be the fandom, so in this case, yeah, I think keeping it all on one page is the way to go. If it comes to it and there are too many notable works listed so it's overwhelming the page, that can always be broken out into a subpage of its own, still with combined books. --Arduinna 05:52, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Why is general Mary Renault info being added to this page? Also, the title of this subpage seems a bit misleading, given that it's one book in a trilogy; is there a separate Persian Boy fandom or Alexander fandom?--Æthel 01:57, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
