There is a dedicated following for The Legend of Zelda as a series, but there are also somewhat separate followings for each individual game (not unlike the separate fandoms for Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, for example).
Unless anyone objects, I plan to cut/paste installment-specific content to pages for the respective games, and generally leave this page for the history and trends associated with the fan following of the general series or the shared universe of multiple installments. — PCCB (talk) 20:22, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
