The page needs to be renamed to fit Naming Conventions. Should it be renamed to The Devil You Know (Sentinel novel) or The Devil You Know (Sentinel story)? Do we have a standard disambiguation naming convention for fanfic other than zines?--æthel 04:51, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

I don't think we have standard disambiguation for that. There is for example Coming Home (SGA fic) and I'm almost sure that there is some "novel" and "story" disambiguation too. If it's a novel, we should maybe go with The Devil You Know (Sentinel novel) but other disambiguation names would work too. --Doro 09:04, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, we don't have a convention that I know of, but I'd go with "story". I know we often call short standalone zines "novel" here, but this has ~22k words, so calling it novel feels odd.--RatCreature 09:10, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Agreed. I didn't check out the story lenght.--Doro 09:43, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
I've called all single story zines "novels" only to distinguish them from anthologies and because that's the template available. But in the body of the description, I call the work a story or fanwork if it's short. How short? As Ratcreature says, we don't have a convention for that. As per this one (not a zine), I'm going to go with "story" in renaming this one. --Mrs. Potato Head 12:44, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
