Does anyone have an active link to the TCP archive? My old link (http://www.subreality.com/tcp.htm) seems to be dead now.

I couldn't find one -- would love to add a link if a version of the archive currently exists.--Penknife 19:08, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
This would be a great project for Open Doors, don't you think? We should contact Kielle.--Xenakis 19:12, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Kielle passed away in 2005, sadly.--Penknife 19:22, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Oh my God, I had no idea :( But someone must have taken over the archive, though, because I visited that link less than a year ago. --Xenakis 20:22, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
It looks like the Subreality site is down, but I don't know how long it's been down or whether it's moved. There's a subreality LJ community, though, and maybe someone over there knows its status?--Penknife 22:45, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Meanwhile, there is a Wayback Machine copy of the archive, where one can still see the rules for what could be submitted and such, so maybe for reference links to that could be given?--Ratcreature 18:50, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Is this the same as outsider POV stories in other fandoms or is this different? --Ratcreature 18:19, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I think they're related, but not the same thing. Outsider POV stories in most fandoms tend to focus on an outsider's view of the canon characters, from what I've seen. The Common People stories were about what it was like for ordinary people to live in the Marvel Universe -- in most of them, canon characters never appeared.--Penknife 18:35, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure about the glossary template? The community and fanworks templates don't really fit either. Could we have a shared universe template, or is that too specific? --MegR 14:39, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

I don't think there is a shared universe template. :( Other than adding the category "Collaboration" (I'm not quite sure how adding categories to an article page works because I've never done that), I don't know what to do. It could be an archive, or a community, but that doesn't really fit either, does it? Meh. I'm sorry that I can't be more help.--Doro 14:52, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
No, I know there isn't one atm, but I have seen new ones being made, and I wasn't sure where to ask for one. I think it would get used though. I did add a couple of categories, but I couldn't decide whether or not to add Collaboration, because well - it *isn't* one, exactly. --MegR 14:57, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh no, I was too fast! I saw you adding the categories and added collaboration as well because of the "shared universe" part. Should I take it out again? --Doro 15:00, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
No, no, leave it. I don't have strong feelings against it or anything ;}--MegR 15:02, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Currently, no other shared universe has the collaboration category, but maybe this should change? It could be a form of collaboration, although I guess all fanfic written in a fandom could then also be defined as collaboration. :)--Æthel 15:05, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, maybe then we should remove the category again. ^^ What template do the other shared universes use? --Doro 15:09, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
I can't find any shared universes that have pages yet, except Kraith, which just has Fanworks. But there (will be) stuff like the M7 ATF universe, Pegasus B - like TCP stories, they aren't neccessarily collaborative at all, just sharing a 'canon'. --MegR 15:17, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
There's also Mensaverse, which uses the glossary template. I'm wondering if these pages should have a template at all, or if they should get a shared universe template...--Æthel 15:26, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
