Tags topic anywhere on fanlore?

I can't find a definition page for tags/tagging anywhere. If there is one, could someone add a link in this page? If not, I'll volunteer to start. --msilverstar (talk) 02:41, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Tags aren't fandom specific, so we probably don't need a page for that. We do have a page for AO3 Tag Wrangling and the Tumblr page has a section for tags (Tumblr#Tagging). --Doro (talk) 10:55, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
AO3 Tagging Policy Debate has a lot of info, though it needs to be updated. Perhaps some of the rougher edges could be smoothed and we could then remove the PPOV label? --MPH (talk) 12:12, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
In addition to AO3 there are also fandom usages in Tumblr tags and Delicious tags and Pinboard tags, so I'm thinking of doing a summary here and lots of links.--msilverstar (talk) 17:58, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Filled in this page because of importance to fandom

I needed this so I did it. Lots of links. Now considering tackling Labels --msilverstar (talk) 19:51, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Makes sense. "Single Parent" and "Tumblr" and many other things on Fanlore aren't fandom specific; the key is tying them into how fans use and view those topics. --MPH (talk) 23:06, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
