What does this translate to exactly: みかんサラダ ?
Tangerine salad? Mandarin salad? Mikan salad? Orange salad? I know these are all related (especially considering the character it's referencing) and I'm probably just being a stickler but I'd like to get the best translation, if possible. - inkstone 03:07, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
- Mikan (みかん, also 蜜柑) is for mandarin oranges, especially the Satsuma mandarin orange. So "mandarin salad," "mandarin orange salad," "satsuma salad," and "satsuma mandarin salad" are all accurate translations - take your pick. Personally, unless it being the "satsuma" kind is important, I'd go for "mandarin orange salad" (since it beats "mandarin salad" in a GoogleFight. :) -- Kylara 04:07, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
