TLDR?

I'm really just curious, are there parts of fandom that don't use the semi colon in TL;DR? --Msilverstar 02:05, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

I don't know. I use TLDR, TL;DR, and tealdeer interchangeably. The one I don't do, that I see all the time, is replacing the semicolon with a comma. I presume it's popular in countries that do comma splices, like the UK and Australia. (It irks me, the entry going under capital-T lowercase-l semicolon lowercase-d lowercase-r, because I am a virgo; but that is my crazy and I own it.) --Vee 04:28, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

citelink dead?

I clicked on the link in footnotes and while it leads to a webarchive the archived page displays "there is no text" and it gives no background on the situation at all... anyone has a better link? I want to know more about her thoughts on yaoi! --Roamingcataloger (talk) 18:42, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

I think the post is complete here? https://www.webcitation.org/6PhBf1in7 --MPH (talk) 19:00, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
Ah. I got confused by the webarchive link not working and I completely ignored the webcitation... Why have two links where one of them is dead though?
Also: it was worth it. thouhgts on yaoi lived up to the hype :) --Roamingcataloger (talk) 19:06, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
As long as there's some way to get at the original content, I don't think too much about the dead links.
I'm so happy I made that webcite all those years ago, or it would be gone, gone, gone. In fact, I'm so happy, I made another one just in case: http://web.archive.org/web/20201015200312/https://www.webcitation.org/6PhBf1in7 --MPH (talk) 20:06, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
