Talk:Milk (Panic! at the Disco fanfic)

Some information was recently added to the page about accusations that were made against the author of this fic, druscilla_way - I decided to move this to a Talk page discussion because this doesn't concern the fic directly so is of questionable relevance to that page. If we feature this information on Fanlore I think it would belong on a Fan page for the author, but we would also need to put thought and care into how the information is worded. It's a delicate subject and we need to be careful that the way it's recorded on a wiki like Fanlore doesn't do more harm. Here are the sources included with that edit:

Thanks. I actually debated putting it on the page for that reason. On one hand, the author did sexually abuse a minor and people should know she's dangerous. On the other hand, you're right about the wording. Sj2014 (talk) 23:07, 23 June 2022 (UTC)

Okay, the thing is that Fanlore is a wiki for recording information and history about fandom, not for signal boosting things. In this instance it does seem relevant to fandom and to include on a fan page for the author, but the idea shouldn't be to use Fanlore as a way of amplifying the reach of something.
