Talk:List of OTW 2011 Board Election links

Hey everyone,

I'm impressed! Can't believe there are still posts I haven't found ;) I would suggest moving this as a subpage to the OTW Elections one so that they're more intimately linked, unless there is a specific Fanlore policy (hi Gardeners!) or argument that suggests again? lian 20:53, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

Lists stand pretty much on their own and we have abandoned the subpage concept wherever possible. The link to the election page is right there in the template and if this page is not linked on the election page, it should be. The link dump on the election page can probably go as this is a much cleaner version of the listed links. --Doro 21:31, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

When I first made the page I considered it as a subpage too. But all the "List of" pages are now top level pages, so I switched it at the last minute. Here's the policy(?)/help page for subpages: Help:Subpages#When_and_Why_Subpages_are_used. (I think we no longer need the Gardeners tag, so taking it down.) -- Kylara 23:04, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

Space or no space?

Whether or not a section (following the ||) has a space in front of it influences the order the list is sorted into. For instance, if you reorder the list by "Posted by", halfway down the list it starts over again at "a". We should be consistent about whether or not to include the space to keep the list sortable. Does anyone have a preference? I personally prefer the space because it's easier to spot when editing. -- Kylara 23:04, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
