Hi there, I see that the cite source was removed. If you have a question or concern, please contact the wiki committee who you can reach [1]here. In the meantime, I've restored the citation.--MeeDee (talk) 16:10, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
Metalyza, why was content removed from this page without discussion? --Mrs. Potato Head (talk) 17:24, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
Hello, I removed the content because I purged most of my journal and I'm trying to remove all my connections to slash. It has become problematic for me. Please do not link to my journal.
- Definitely contact the Wiki Committee ASAP if this is an ID issue. They can also help remove the history so there will be no link to your journal. In the meantime, we should probably restore the quote (sans any identifying info or cite) and let the Wiki Committee make the final call if the quote too needs to be removed. And thanks for the explanation. PS. You can also ask the wiki committee to submit a google cache removal request once the page has been cleaned up. That will help speed things along. --MeeDee (talk) 18:03, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
- PS. Metalyza, I also did a search on Fanlore to see if there are any other pages that link to your blog and could not find any. If you do see any, please send that info up to the Wiki Committee as well when you contact them.--MeeDee (talk) 18:10, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the suggestion. I've contacted the commitee. Due to my profession, I simply cannot be linked to slash anymore. Sorry for the incovenience.
- Also, if the quote itself continues to be an issue, another possibility for the Wiki Committee to consider is just quoting the facts: attendees from X, Y Z country. Panels A, B, and C, workshops A, B and C with sessions on X, Y, and Z. Discussions on K and S and xxx in general and a contest with questions like XXXXX. Bland, but informative. and no links or names.--MeeDee (talk) 18:25, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
