I agree. This is not RPF. And I actually don't think this is like the AUs that just use actors' body images either. I don't know this fandom, but I've read other such fandoms, such as Hewligan, and some of the various actor-centric xovers such as TS/OWW, and these weren't "ostensibly" about the characters but really closeted RPF with Clark Kent glasses on. This argument seems like how some slash fans say all smarm fans are really slash fans in denial.--RatCreature 07:04, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Okay, the TPM stuff seems like it intends to be stealth RPF (in some cases), but if I were making a page for a given fanwork, I'd call it FPF because the author does. Hewligan (which I've read) is very obviously FPF in every way and I don't see any relationship between it and RPF at all. I inferred from the page for this fandom that this stuff is more like TPM AUs than Hewligan. Likely from that line missing link between FPF and RPF, rather than any deep-seated desire to "argue" that the fic is actually RPF in disguise to support my cause or something. That line really says to me that the stories are characterized more like RPF, but perhaps it means something else entirely? Perhaps someone who actually knows what they're talking about in re this fandom could look at the page and weigh in on that aspect. --facetofcathy 14:07, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
