Should this page, as well as the Iris page be mentioned on the main vidding (or maybe vid) page? We could create a section listing the most common songs used in vids.--Xenakis 03:38, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Good idea; I live in hope that some songs won't get overused like those two. The Iris page made think of Holding Out for a Hero, which I've seen way more of. Also Sara Mclachlan songs, especially “Possession”. I know, too, that matchbox twenty's “mad season” album struck a chord with fanfic writers; I wrote a trilogy, Hth wrote something, and someone wrote a TS set to it; I think I've seen it elsewhere too but my memory's a sieve.--Raine Wynd 07:04, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Maybe a new page, something like “Vidding/Popular Vid Songs” — Liviapenn 08:28, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Man, I remember once when you couldn't turn around without hitting a music montage to “Full of Grace” — off the top of my head there's Buffy leaving town at the end of “Becoming pt 2,” and Fraser visiting RayV in the hospital in “Call of the Wild, part 1.” Of course DS had lots of Sarah… “Song for a Winter's Night” was used in “Hunting Season,” and there's probably others. — Liviapenn 08:28, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Sarah was the vidder's friend well before evanesence came along. I added a song choice section to the main vidding page, and added these as part of it. I'm sure once we have more info on song choice that it will become a subpage, but I didn't set it up that way quite yet. I'm sure someone else will have opinions. ;) --rache 16:12, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone remember that multi-fandom one where the message ended up being more or less "Maybe we should be holding out for a heroine"? It's on my other computer, or I'd look it up. I love it un-ironically --Betty 06:39, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Oh yeah! I think I have that one on my other computer. I'll check & add it tomorrow afternoon if no one else can find it. -- Liviapenn 06:46, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
