Talk:Founders Era
Pretty sure "Founders Era" is also used in the Naruto fandom (e.g. this fic -- actually [the majority of fics that use the uncategorized freeform tag "Founders Era" are in the Naruto fandom). I have no idea if it's related to/descends from the HP fandom usage -- I would guess not, but something to research maybe. Either way, TODO: re-organize this page, either to disambiguate the two fandom usages, or split into two separate pages. -- Quaelegit (talk) 00:41, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- I just found one use of "Founders Era (FFXV)" on ao3, which is for the fandom Final Fantasy XV (the tag is in use by a single work which is login-locked). Compare to:
- I did some googling and FFXV has a character with the title "Founder King" but I think "Founders Era" is a new coining by the author of that one fic rather than a term in general use in the FFXV fandom (at least so far). I did find one other use of the phrase in a fic on FFN but honestly I dont' think it's using it in the same sense -- that is to refer to the in-game historical era of the Founder King. Anyways I'm gonna rework the mainspace page to document Harry Potter and Naruto fandoms' usage of the term "Founders Era" -- Quaelegit (talk) 01:02, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- OH WAIT "Warring States Period" is much more common for Naruto fandom, and also a canonized tag. (It's also the term Narutopedia uses.) I'm going to make a page for the Naruto trope/genre under that name, and add a disambiguating hat note (probably Template:Other uses). -- Quaelegit (talk) 01:26, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
