Flowers in Canon

There's instances of flowers being used symbolically in canon, sometimes not explicitly, which is then a target of fans' attention. Should fan's essays/short notes/analysis of flowers in canon material also be placed here? If so, under what title? Aliandry (talk) 22:56, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

This article seems like it has a lot of potential for expansion. A section discussing character- and fandom-specific flower symbolism could definitely work. Maybe with a title like "Symbolism by Fandom," "Fandom-Specific Symbolism," or something similar? There's also instances of flower symbolism (particularly the language of flowers) being explicitly integrated into stories. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart springs to mind as a recent canon example. Might be worth giving the language of flowers its own section. Also might be worth having a section exploring flower-related tropes in non-English fandoms. Hanahaki and pistilverse spring to mind.
