Talk:Fanzine Library
Notes for future expansion: Some public libraries also keep zine collections, and some of these collections are circulating. (I ran across some zine librarians' writings a while ago and need to dig them up again. Anyone else familiar with this?) However, zine librarians don't necessarily make clear distinctions between fanzines and zines that are not fannish, so I don't know how many of these zine collections contain fanzines. But if non-fan zine people find this page, they may be very confused, so it would be good to add more context.--æþel 02:16, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
quote error?
One sentence (bolded) in here that is formatted as a quote reads like regular text: "The goal of MA," she said, "is to collect, catalog, and microfilm as much of the fan-produced literature as we can get our hot little hands on. She then proposed to put all issues on microfiche for posterity." By October 1973 Sharon had announced that the archive had been "accepted by the National Air and Space Museum" but it remains unclear whether the collection was ever put in place. --æþel (talk) 23:33, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- I found the quote and fixed it. Thanks for catching that. --Mrs. Potato Head (talk) 23:59, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
