Talk:Fancomic

Name

The article text uses "fan comic" rather than "fancomic," so that's where I've moved it.--Penknife 12:11, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

I'd like to suggest that the article be moved back to "fancomic." Although the page was initially written using "fan comic," upon looking at the reference pages I see quickly that "fancomic" is far more prevalently used. Even the "fan_comic" LJ community uses it mostly as a single word. (For what it's worth, fancomic also wins at Googlefight.) There's been similar discussion on article names coming up in Talk:Fanfiction at at the Dreamwidth comm, for those interested. I'll put up an attention to the gardeners to consider moving the article. -- Kylara 18:16, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Samples

The sample webcomics were mostly selected based on how well known they seem to be to me (eg how often I've seen them randomly come up in conversation) This means the range of styles etc isn't as broad as it could be, it might be worth choosing some based on different criteria.-- sqbr 10:51, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

just a note

I added an image from a graphic novel that's an adaptation of another fic. I think it's a fairly relevant example but I won't be hurt if someone want to axe it/move it to a dif section. -- Error cascade (talk) 07:22, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
