found an example of a tumblr account that called itself "a discourse blog" so it seems like the term is used without irony by some people? Unless I'm missing the irony in this blog.--aethel (talk) 02:37, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

I was looking at the blog and it doesn't seem ironic at all. It's literally just a blog creating discourse in the dictionary definition sense. SavannahM (talk) 20:33, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
