I'm not sure this is true: The show continually positions Derek as a villainous character (often despite of, not because of, his actions), a something of an anti-hero[2] and the fandom embraced that characterization almost without question. My impression is that canon!Derek is meant to be much less sympathetic than the fanon portrayal I see in Derek/Stiles fic. I read one Stiles/Isaac fic where he was the villain, and if this is a trend in other pairings, that would be good to note.--æþel (talk) 01:36, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
