Talk:Connie Faddis

Great write-up, and I love the cover art! I covet these Interphase zines. One question: is Connie Faddis dead? I sincerely hope she isn't, but I've noticed this before with other 'people' write-ups: a lot of them seem to be in the past tense, and to me this sounds as though the person in question is no more. --Mary Crawford 06:56, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Hah. I was just wondering that. Many of these writeups really do make it sound like people are dead when, in fact, a lot of them just either got out of making zines or got out of the fandom the writer is familiar with a few decades ago. Franzeska 16:42, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
It looks like she may not be active in fandom anymore, but I see mailinglist messages from 2008 from one of her friends trying to quash rumors of her demise. So, no, not dead. Franzeska 16:59, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

I was looking over the Starsky & Hutch main page and saw a new update that linked to a pretty recent review of a Starsky & Hutch story Connie wrote that has some pretty great praise directed at Connie. Would it be good idea to mention that review on her page here as a little "still appreciated in current times" section or something? (I wonder if she has ever seen her fanlore page...) Here's the review I found linked: http://intrigueing.dreamwidth.org/1876.html --Lesson foamy (talk) 00:33, 24 October 2014 (UTC)

Good idea to link it up. We can do it with this page. --MPH (talk) 00:37, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
