Talk:Azurite
Hey, this sort of bio really belongs on your user profile, not here. Please take a look at some of the other people pages to get a feel for what info is appropriate. --Kyuuketsukirui 08:37, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- Should this page be moved to User:Azurite?--æthel 20:43, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- Looking at the page history, I see Ratcreature has made some edits, but the page still contains a lot of RL details that don't seem relevant. Could we copy the pre-Ratcreature version back to the user page and then cut this page down further?--æthel 20:48, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'm a little confused myself. The other People pages follow the format of being chronological and in third-person, but I don't see any sort of "template" or order it should follow for People pages vs. User pages. I'd be happy to move it/have it moved, but I'd like to know what the main differences between the two types of pages are. --Az 06:59, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
- A user page is the page of your account. Only you can edit that page. You can put your fannish bio there or your editing projects, etc. If you look at my user page (User:Frogspace), you see information about editing images on Fanlore that I collected because I frequently need it when I edit a page and you see my to do list. A people page, on the other hand, is a page everyone can edit. It's very much like a Wikipedia page about a person. Everything you add there can be changed by someone else. Here are the help pages that might be able to answer some of your questions: Help:Tutorial/Edit Userpage, Help:People pages. --Doro 10:02, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
